Our family of 15 had a wonderful stay!  The back patio is the standout feature on this house.  It would be a great place to stay in warm weather so you could really take advantage of it.

Treetop retreat was fantastic! We rented the place for our son’s birthday and he and his friends loved hitting the slops and having a short trip back to the house. We loved the location (the views🤩!) It was the perfect place to enjoy the big snow storm. Hosts were very accommodating. Communication was smooth and any questions we had were addressed quickly. We highly recommend!

The check in instructions referenced the lock box code, but the code was actually for the coded door lock. Not a big deal, but it did cause some confusion on check in. The owners were very responsive. We had an issue with the garbage disposal which they addressed the same day within hours of notification. Check out instructions were clear and concise. The owners are very communicative which made check out very easy for all of us. 
Overall, the place is nice. We had 12 people in the house with 7 dogs which could have been cramped, but the layout was very condusive to people wanting to gather as well as those who wanted a little quiet time. The game room is great and having the hot tub there is a treat. Hiking trails are close as is the resort for skiing/shopping and dining out. The kitchen supplies left a little to be desired, but we were also cooking for 12 people. A few larger pots and pans would be a nice addition. 
Overall a nice place and a nice stay.

Two families stayed very comfortably at Sara and Brian‘s home. The beds were comfortable, the home was clean and they had tons of thoughtful little details that make it easier to be away from home. The kids loved the game room downstairs.

The Airbnb was very beautiful and accommodated our group of 9 perfectly. The only downfall was that the hot tub was broken and that was a main reason I chose the Airbnb. I was accommodated for the inconvenience which was greatly appreciated. They even offered a different place with a working hot tub but it wasn’t enough rooms. Over all 9/10 experience and the hosts were quick to respond and very nice.

Excellent location, amazing place. 

We were given excellent instructions on how to get there and the house rules. The place is beautiful, clean, cozy, it has great amenities, a huge tv, one of the most beautiful views I have seen in an Airbnb. 4 full size bedrooms and a room for kids with multiple beds. It was super convenient that it had a garage and they even had a bed and crate for our dog. The place is 3 minutes away from the slopes. I will definitely book this Airbnb again.

We were in Massanutten for my daughter’s 30th birthday and we’re looking for accommodations close by. This adorable house was within walking distance to tons of restaurants and nightlife. The house was immaculate and very roomy. The hosts were very responsive and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place and great location. We had a last minute cancellation with another host and I reached out to Brian and Sara and they were very responsive. They let us book the cabin last minute and we had a great time. The cabin is beautiful and it has everything you need. I recommend it! :)

Perfect location if you’re looking to take part in the massanutten resort activities 
Trash and check in / out times are strict as well as specific cleaning instructions. But appreciate the straight forward renting rules and if you’re fine with a quiet retreat to relax and enjoy beautiful views you’ll enjoy this luxury feeling stay.

Our stay at Angler's Retreat was amazing! Just a few minutes after arriving we already wanted to book for the summer! The house is very spacious and with a great view. Different games for all ages. Lots of outdoor space for hanging out. Everything was just great and we can't wait to come back again.

What a fantastic surprise vacation we just had!  Thanks to this beautiful home and the hosts’ incredibly kind and fast communication. We are going to remember our family’s weekend of snow tubing, group breakfast and billiards for many years.

Kitchen was accommodating and very clean.  The home had all the linens, towels, paper towels and more that our family needed. Our kids are older than cribs now, but I saw pack’n plays that would make it a great family spot for any ages.

Parking was easy with plenty of space. The heater warmed a cold January night up beautifully and so did the family room fire place.

Wish we had time to use the hot tub, but the steam rising on a cold morning was inviting even through the window at breakfast! Door dash and grub hub had easy time delivering food, but we could have cooked easily with everything they provide inside and out.

Overalls, great stay, comfy beds, and even better hosts. Thank you for having us!

My family of 16+ had a wonderful time at Brian and Sarah’s place. It was the perfect destination for a cozy cabin getaway. The patio is wonderful for grilling and making s’mores. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably. We had an issue with the dishwasher and requested lighters for the grill and Brian and Sarah were very responsive. We will be back!

Thank you Brian and Sara for a wonderful stay. The house very comfortably housed us and our extended family over the Christmas holiday, and we even found a reusable Christmas tree tucked into the garage! The house was very clean, with great amenities, and a stone’s throw from the beach and shops. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for our family gathering for our daughter’s graduation.  We were able to put 12 people at the dining room table! We enjoyed the living room and the fireplace.  With six bedrooms and four bathrooms, there was room for everyone. There were quality bath towels for everyone. And evenings in the hot tub made the perfect end of the day.  The host answered my questions in messages right away. We definitely would recommend!

This home was beyond spectacular. Brian and Sara thought of every little detail in the design and comfort. Even the toy bin was unexpected and helpful. They did not disappoint and we didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to book with them again and enjoy the sites and sounds around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was extremely clean, with excellent upgrades. Beds were very comfortable!
Though a sign was posted, the exit driveway to the street is very narrow and the concrete retainer wall on your right is unyielding, especially if you are turning right.
We would definitely return to the property.

Sara and Brian are excellent hosts. We absolutely loved the place. It was so peaceful to wake up and walk to the river for a cup of coffee in the crispy mountain air.  We enjoyed warming up by the fire pit and the hot tub.  This place is the perfect getaway.  We look forward to returning in the future. Thanks for a lovely stay.
